This website collects some anonymized, analytical data. This website doesn’t process personal data unless you sign up for our newsletter. In that case, we process some of your data (e.g. your email address) so we can send you our newsletter. We share this data with our newsletter service provider, Mailchimp.

We don’t use any significant cookies on this website. We want you to know we don’t make automated decisions and we don’t stockpile personal data. Sometimes we keep data (such as emails or logs) to do our work properly. But usually, we want to get rid of personal data as soon as possible.

Offer validity

Any quotation created and sent is valid for a period of two weeks. After this time period Objekt Studio is allowed to send a new quote and prices can be changed and have to be agreed upon again.

What’s included

We aim to be very specific about what is included in our quotations. That is true for the number of feedback loops for a certain project or project phases, but also for the number of meetings. If not stated otherwise that includes an opening meeting and a digital .PDF presentation meeting. Should you eventually want more meetings or feedback loops then these will be charged extra at a rate of €90,- per working hour.

Open files

Unless mentioned otherwise in the quotation, receiving open files is never included. This is also true for ownership and alteration rights. If you wish to receive open files this will result in an extra fee, the amount of this fee varies per document.

Split payment

To ensure fairness for both parties we ask for a split payment for sums larger than €1.400,-. This means that 50% of the sum would be paid before the start of the project and 50% after project completion. This means that the design work can’t start before the first payment has been received.

Planning and delays

If a timeline was created to ensure the timely finish of a project this means that both parties, Objekt Studio, as well as the client, are asked to stick to this planning. If your giving feedback or providing the needed content or information takes longer than accounted for in the planning, this will push back the timeline for at least an equal amount of days.

Something missing

Please check this offer carefully and make sure everything you demand from this project is mentioned. Even though we always try our best, there is of course always a chance of a missed detail.

Spelling mistakes

There is of course always a chance of (spelling) errors in both digital and print deliverables. Objekt Studio takes no responsibility for possible errors. Files must always be thoroughly checked by the client before a final go can be given. Therefore the client will bear full responsibility for the text.

License

All rights not expressly granted hereunder are reserved to Objekt Studio, including but not limited to all rights in sketches, comps, or other preliminary materials. If the client wishes to make any additional use of the artwork, the client agrees to seek permission from Objekt Studio and make such payments as are agreed to between the parties at that time.

Please note that the client is not permitted to alter the artwork without Objekt Studio’s consent. Objekt Studio reserves the right to use, and make director cuts, for showcasing on its own portfolio.

Ownership of Copyright

The license granted when signed by Commissioner or the Client (where the Commissioner is acting as an intermediary) is conditional upon Objekt Studio having received payment in full of all monies due.

Author Credit

By signing this document, or by commencing work with Objekt Studio, you agree that the text “Design by Objekt Studio” will be added to the footer of the website, with a link to [Objekt Studio’s website]. This credit will remain visible on all versions of the website unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Completion and payment

After an invoice was sent, the payment period of 20 days begins. If we couldn’t register payment within this timeframe we do reserve the right to stop working further on any projects with this specific client. After another 30 days, 6% will be added to the invoice as a service fee.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the Client, the following cancellation payment shall be paid by the Client; (A) cancellation prior to the finished art being turned in: 60 percent of the fee. (B) Cancellation due to finished art being unsatisfactory: 80 percent of the fee, and (C) cancellation for any other reason after the finished art is turned in: 100 percent of the fee. In the event of cancellation, the Client shall also pay any expenses incurred by the Designer, and the Designer shall own all rights in the Work. The billing upon cancellation shall be payable within 21 days of the Clients notification to stop work or the delivery of the finished art, whichever occurs sooner.
